The Obligatory

After about an hour of script-tinkering, we got an announcement from one of our finer employees from Delaware.

He had done something I had only dreamed of doing - FedEx'ed boxes of Dunkin' Donuts overnight from the East Coast.

And they were delicious.

Then, when we thought it couldn't get any better, our company's shipment of Nintendo Wiis came in. No exaggeration, a conference room full of people applauded when we started opening them.

I've played several Wii games before at E3, but this is the first time I'd been able to get my hands on the actual console itself. It is sleek, streamlined, and surprisingly small. And even though I can fit the entire machine in one hand, it still feels solid. I wouldn't go tossing the thing around, but I wouldn't worry about packing it up in my carry-on, either.

I can't wait to have one of these in my living room.

But until then, I'll get to fool around with one at work.

Anyone who says Krispy Kreme is better than Dunkin Donuts is either insane or a goddamn liar.

I can't wait for the Wii. I hope I can lay hand on one at launch. Just a week to go!

In your carry-on, eh? Hmm...I don't care where we meet up next time you're on the east coast but if you bring that thing expect to be abducted to the closest RCA ported television.
