Our Country is Not Fucked / Fucked
Point A). The Supreme Court ruled the EPA is accountable for CO2 emissions, which effectively and legally declares - finally - that CO2 is a greenhouse gas. This also clears the way for the states that usually trailblaze in environmental areas - my adopted West Coast and native New England - to push for higher mileage requirements and other environmental legislation.

Point B). According to a Newsweek Poll, almost half of Americans (48%) reject evolution. Of the 34 countries, we ranked just above the bottom. Only Turkey has more fundamentalists. Way to go, guys.

I think the reason for that is the evangelicals are the ones evolution is passing by. And people wonder why the rest of the world thinks americans are stupid.
